Kajol is making her debut in OTT Disney+Hotstar. She will be seen in the web series The Trial. The series is a remake of the English series Good Wife. The series is centered on a housewife who, after 10 years, returns to work at a law firm to support her family when her husband gets imprisoned. The series was announced in July 2022.

The series stars Jisshu Sengupta, Kubbra Sait, Sheebha Chadda, Swayam Joshi, Ally Khan, and many others in supporting roles.It is directed by Suparn Verma. Kajol is playing the role of Noyonika Sengupta, a Lawyer.
