The film is so inspiring, and shows struggles of Srikanth, who was born visually impaired in 1992 in Seetharamapuram. The film shows his struggles from childhood, there is a line ‘mai bhaag nahi sakta, sirf lad sakta hun’ meaning (‘I can’t run away, I can only fight’)

The film has insipred many people and fans have a appreaciated the storyline and Rajkummar Rao‘s performance. Srikanth Bolla is very overwhelmed by the response from the audience and says “All of these reviews are coming very close to my heart and I am overwhelmed with the whole hearted responses of parents, families, kids and individuals of the entertainment community.
It gives me motivation to keep going ahead with my life and do good work. It is such a positive pressure that I have never experienced before, thus I also want to gear up and work even harder towards my goals of inclusivity and sustainability.
I thank all the audience for coming to watch the brilliant craft of Raj, Tushar and the whole team. I know that it motivates the whole film fraternity to take up more projects like this one.
Congratulations team #Srikanth
With the perfect mix of wit, drama, and inspiration; the audience and critics became Srikanth’s fans!”

Srikanth Bolla also adds up and says””The first thing that happened was quite surprising. I forgot that the movie was about my life and I indulged like every other intrigued viewer, rooting for the hero. Storytelling, dialogue delivery, acting, everything seems so amazing. No unnecessary melodrama, just a simple, engrossing narrative that feels very unique amongst any other biopics that I know of. The first half is more about the rollercoasters that happened to have with my life, learning to be more than what the society expects me too. The second half felt like the more human side of me was captured with every second carrying deeper emotions.
Why do I call it a benchmark? As we all know, the way blind people have always been portrayed not only in Indian cinema but across the world, never did the justice to the life of a visually impaired and today I witnessed the dramatic shift that comes along with Raj’s flavourful acting. The second benchmark was set up by putting up a positive protagonist role for a visually impaired person unlike the usual side roles.
Tushar is a man of resilience and passion. He has delivered way beyond what he initially promised me. He has created something that will remain as an etch in the hearts of the audience and a mark in the history of Indian Cinema. I hope this movie serves as a beacon of hope for everyone including the parents of differently abled children, the underprivileged people and anyone who seems to lose hope in life.
Congratulations to the whole team for creating 135 minutes of absolute brilliance. Everyone I know is appreciating your efforts and is amazed by Raj’s acting and Tushar’s direction. I think people in India and across the world should get ready for a happy cinematic experience.
Now that the movie is out, I am extremely humbled that my story has reached millions of hearts across the world. This special day comes along with a promise that I have made to myself for always upholding the hope that this movie will give.
Miles to go before I sleep, Miles to go Before I sleep!”
