Dhanush the famous south actor was recently seen in Miller film which released worldwide on 12 January 2024. The film is directed by Arun Matheswaran and produced by Sendhil Thyagarajan. The film also stars Priyanka Mohan, Shivarajkumar and many others in supporting roles. The film received positive reviews from critics and grossed over ₹104.79 crores and the highest grossing tamil film of 2024, Eight highest grossing south Indian film of 2024.

Dhanush will be next seen in upcoming film Raayan  was officially announced in January 2023 under the tentative titles D50, as it is Dhanush‘s 50th film as the lead actor, and the official title was announced in February 2024.

Raayan is an action thriller film directed by Dhanush and produced by Kalanithi Maran. It also stars S J Suryah, Kalidas Jayram, Varalakshmi Sarathkumar, Prakash Raj, Jayram and many other in supporting roles.

The shooting commenced in July 2023. It was predominantly shot in Chennai, and wrapped by mid-December 2023.

The film has music composed by A R Rahman cinematography handled by Om Prakash and editing by Prasanna GK.

The first single, “Adangadha Asuran”, was released on 9 May 2024.
