The trailer will be released on 21st June 2022. The movie will be released on the auspicious day  11th August 2022, It is the day when the Raksha Bandhan festival will be celebrated worldwide.

The movie is directed by  Aanan L.Rai and is produced by Zee Studios, Colour Yellow Productions, and Cape of Good Films. It is written by Himanshu Sharma and Kanika. It is a story about the love, bonding, and attachment between brother-sister. It also features Bhumi Pednekar in the lead,  Sahejmeen Kaur, Deepika Khanna, Sadia Khateeb, and, Smrithi Srikanth will be playing the role of Kumar’s sisters.

This is the 2nd-time Akshay will be working with director Aanand L Rai after ‘Atrangi Re”.

Akshay will also have multiple releases in the coming few months starting with Raksha Bandhan, followed by Ram Setu and Selfie. There’s also Oh My God 2, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, and Gorkha. He is even teaming up with the producer Dinesh Vijan for the first time. It is an action-based thrilling drama.
