Dhanush, whose original name is Venkatesh Prabhu Kasthuri Raja, is a famous actor, director, and playback singer in the Tamil Industry. He was born on 28 July 1983 in Tamil Nadu. He was born to a Tamil film director Kasthuri Raja. His first debut film was Thulluvadho Ilamai, in the year 2002 directed by Kasthuri Raja. he then appeared in Kaadhal Kondein in 2003. In 2004 he got married to Rajinikanth's daughter. he has 2 kids named Yatra and Linga. He has won a National Film Award for Best Actor for Vetrimaran. He has worked in the Hindi film Raanjanna opposite Sonam Kapoor and it grossed over 135 crores rupees worldwide. He has sung "Why This Kolaveri Di" from the movie 3, the song become famous in the year 2011. He has written many songs like Amma Amma, Don u Don'u, Love me a little, RowdyBaby, and many more. His best movies to date are Polladhavan, Padikathavan, Uthama Puthiran, Mappillai, Velaiilla Pattadhari, Shamitabh, Anegan,Maari, Atrangi Re, and many more.
