Thangalaan Vikram‘ s an upcoming which is period drama film directed by Pa. Ranjith. The film was officially announced in December 2021 with the tentative title  Chiyaan 61, as it is Vikram‘s 61st film as a lead actor, while the title of the film was revealed in October 2022. The music is composed by  GV Prakash Kumarcinematography handled by A Kishore Kumar and edited by Selva R K.

The movie stars Malavika Mohanan, Muthukumar, Pasupathy, Arjun Anbudan, and many others in supporting roles.
