The Vaccine War movie was released on 28th September 2023.It is directed by Vivek Agnihotri and produced by Pallavi Josh.It is a medical documentary drama film that stars Nana Patnekar, Anupam Kher, Pallavi Joshi, Raima Sen, Saptami Gowda, and many others in supporting roles.

The movie tells about the development of Covaxin during the COVID-19 pandemic in India, shedding light on the efforts of scientists involved in its creation. It is based on the book “Going Viral” by Prof Balram Bhargava of the Indian Council of Medical Research.
The movie has got mixed reviews.

The audience says it’s a must-watch and the cast in the film has performed very well. Children, Youngsters, and Scientists have appreciated the movie, and the director of the film

PM Narendra Modi appreciated the film and congratulated the whole team. He says it is a must-watch. Vivek Agnihotri shares his gratitude saying”It’s heartening to hear PM @narendramodi acknowledge the contribution of Indian scientists, specially women scientists in making the indigenous vaccine under his leadership. Women scientists called and got emotional “first time a PM praised Virologists” they said.
