Pushpa 2: The Rule movie was announced in 2022.It is sequel to Puspa : The Rise which stars Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Fassil, Jagapati Babu and many others in supporting roles. It is directed by Sukumar and produced by Naveen Yerneni and Yalamanchili Ravi Shankar under their Mythri Movie makers.

The teaser of the film was released a year later on 8 April 2024, coinciding with Allu Arjun‘s 42nd birthday.

The The music of the film is composed by Devi Sri Prasad while the Telugu lyrics are written by Chandrabose. The makers of the film announced the first single Pushpa Pushpa.
