Stree 2 movie was announced at the recent mega event of Jio Studios. The announcement was made with the primary cast performing a skit on stage. The skit video of Stree 2 was released online with the motion poster by the production house Maddock Films.

Stree 2 is the sequel to Stree which was released in 2018. It stars Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Abhishek Banerjee, and many others. It is directed by Amar Kaushik. The sequel to the movie is confirmed to be in the pre-production stage and will only to floors in July 2023.
