Varisu movie released on January 11th.It stars Thalapathy Vijay, Rashmika Mandanna, Prakash Raj, Khushbu, Jaysudha, Yogi Babu, and many others in supporting roles. It is directed by Vamshi Paidipally and produced by Sirish and Dil Raju. The movie is running successfully in theaters. The movie grossed 26.7 crores on Day 1. On Day 2 it grossed 11 crores, 3rd day 10.1 crores, 4th day 18.4 crores,  5th day 20.5 crores, 6th day 15 crores, and  7th day it grossed 17 crores.

The total collection is 118 crores. The movie grossed 210 crores worldwide.

Vijay will be also seen in Thalapathy 67. It is directed by Gautam Menon who is a famous director. The movie also stars Trisha Krishnan in the lead role. Rashmika will be seen in Mission Majnu which also stars Sidharth Malhotra in the lead role. It is releasing on 20th January.
