The movie is the story of India’s first and only female Prime Minister, Indira Gandhi.  The shooting of the movie Emergency has started. The first look of the film and teaser is out.

It is directed by Kangana Ranaut and produced by Renu Pitti and Kangana Ranaut. The dialogues are written by  The screenplay and the dialogues are by Ritesh Shah. It is presented by Manikarnika films. It also stars Satish Kaushal, Anupam Kher, Bhumika Chawala, and Shreyas Talpade.
