Biography

Vijay who is called Thalapathy in the Tamil Industry was born on born 22 June 1974 in Tamil Nadu. He is one of the most talented actors in South films. He is also a dancer and playback singer. He is one of the highest-paid actors. He started acting in small roles in films like Vetri he performed as a child actor in films. His first debut movie Poove Unakkaga 1996 became a blockbuster. His best movies to date are Youth, Gilli, Sura, Badri, Kaththi, sachein, Pokiri, Friends, Theri, Bigil, and many more. Recently he was seen in the movie Beast opposite Pooja Hegde.v He married Sangeetha Sornalingam in the year 1999. He has won many awards. He is also a philanthropist. He presented golden rings to newborn babies at the Egmore Government General Hospital on 22 June 2007. He founded the social welfare organization, Vijay Makkal Iyakkam (Vijay People Organization), which was officially launched in July 2009. He will be next working with Rashmika Mandanna in the Varisu movie which is directed by Vamshi Paidipally.
