Akshay Kumar the Khiladi actor was recently seen in a Selfiee movie with Emraan Hashmi and the movie grossed 23.63 crores at the box office. He will be next seen in OMG 2.

OMG 2 is the sequel to O My God. The movie was directed by Umesh Shukla. It starred Paresh Rawal, Mithun Chakraborty, and Akshay himself in the lead roles. The storyline is based on the Gujarati stage-play which was inspired by the Billy Connolly film The Man who sued God. It was released in 2012 on September 28 and the movie grossed 193 crores at the box office.

The sequel to OMG is announced. Akshay shares the first poster of the movie where Akshay  Kumar is in the form of Lord Shiva and captions it as “आ रहे हैं हम,
आइयेगा आप भी.
11th August. In theatres. #OMG2”

The movie is directed by Amit Rai and produced by Vipul D Shah. It stars Akshay as ShivaYami Gautam as Sanjana Tripathi, Pankaj Tripathi, and Arun Govi as Lord Rama in the lead roles.

The film was announced in 2021 and shooting started on 2 September 2021. The shooting took place in Mumbai.

The movie is releasing on 11 August 2023.

Akshay will also be seen in the remake of Suriya’s movie Soorarai Pottru and Bade Miyan and Chote Miyan.
