The Khiladi actor Akshay Kumar was seen in Cuttputli with Rakul Preet Singh which was the remake of the Tamil movie Ratsasan. The movie got a good response from the audience. He has signed a project with Jacqueline Fernandez and Nushrutta Bharuccha in the direction of Abhishek Sharma. The movie Ram Setu is produced by Aruna Bhatia and Vikram Malhotra under the banner of Lyca Production.

The shooting of the movie is completed and will be released on 24 October 2022.
