Akshay Kumar was recently seen in Raksha Bandhan which is directed by Aanand L Rai. It starred  Sadia Khateeb, Bhumi Pednekar, Sahil Mehta, and Lala Kedarnath in the lead role. The film grossed 59 crores worldwide. Now he will be seen with Rakul Preet Singh in Cuttputi.

Cuttputli is a remake of the crime thriller Tamil psychological thriller Ratsanan movie. The movie will be released on the OTT platform Disney+Hotstar. It is directed by Ranjit M Tiwa and produced by veteran Vashu Bhagnan. It also stars Kamla Laxman, Vyjayantimala Pushpa, Sheela Kashmiri, Jawahar Kaul, Balraj Shani, Poonam, and Shyam Kumar.

In the movie, Akshay will be playing the role of a policeman. The film will be released on September 2nd, 2022.

Cuttputli’s first song Saathiya is out. It is a romantic track with Rakul Preet. It is Sung by Zahrah S Khan and Nikhil D’souza and lyrics by Tanishk Bagchi. Check out the full video song here.
