Synopsis
In the 1990’s, Kathavaraayan “Raayan” is the eldest of four siblings, which includes his two younger brothers Muthuvelraayan “Muthu” and Manickavelraayan “Manickam” and the youngest of them all, their sister Durga, on whom Raayan dotes on. One day, he is told by his parents that he needs to take care of his siblings until they come back home, which they, however, never do. Raayan then begins to take care of his siblings, as if he were their father, and moves from their hometown to North Chennai.
Many years later, Raayan is now a fast-food hotel owner, Manickam begins studying at a college, and Muthu is a brash, hot-headed alcoholic and is together with Mekhala. One day, Muthu clashes with people while at the bar, and ends up killing a gangster’s son. Meanwhile, Sethuraman “Sethu”, the son of a famous gangster, is waiting to take revenge on Durai, a rival gangster who killed his father. Sargunam, the new police commissioner, wants to somehow create a conflict between the two and encounter them all together. Raayan and his siblings get caught in the web of deception, betrayal, and revenge. Will they come out unscathed or give in to their raw emotions?
