Biography

Emraan Anwar Hashmi was born on 24 March 1979, in Mumbai. He belongs to a Muslim family. He began his carrier in 2003, with Vikram Bhatt's thriller Footpath. Co-starring alongside Aftab Shivdasani and Bipasha Basu, he portrayed the role of Raghu Shrivastav, a gangster. He then appeared in the erotic thriller Murder with Mallika Sherawat and Ashmit Patel. In 2006 Hashmi appeared in Anant Mahadevan's thriller Aksar with Udita Goswami and Dino Morea. He then appeared in Anurag Basu's romantic thriller Gangster, co-starring Kangana Ranaut, and Shiney Ahuja. His best movies to date are Zeher, Jannat, Tum Mile, Raaz Reboot, Awarapan, and many others. Emraan Hashmi was featured in the romantic song 'Lut Gaye'. Presented by T-Series, directed by Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru. Sung by Jubin Nautiyal. He married to Parveen Shahani in an Islamic wedding ceremony in December 2006 and have a son, Ayaan Hashmi, who was born on 3 February 2010. He was recently seen in Chehre with Amitabh Bachchan. He will be next seen with Akshay Kumar in Selfiee movie.
