Vijay Devarakonda the fame actor is currently shooting for his upcoming film. The film was officially announced in January 2023 under the tentative title VD12, and the official title was announced in February 2025. On 12 February 2025, the makers unveiled the film’s teaser on social media platforms. The teaser features voice overs by N.T Rama Rao J R.

The film is spy thriller film written and directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri . It is produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas. The film also Bhagyashri Borse and Satydev. It is the first part of a planned duology.

The soundtrack is composed by Anirudh Ravichander in his second collaboration with Gowtam Tinnanuri after Jersey (2019) and first collaboration with Vijay Devarakonda.

The Filming began in the places like Hyderabad, Kerala, Thandikudi, Kothamangalam, Nagercoil and many others places. As of January 2025, 80% of the filming was completed.

Kingdom is scheduled to be release on 30 May 2025 in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi languages.
