Vicky Kaushal will be seen in Chhaava film with Rashmika Mandanna. The film is directed by Laxman Utekar and produced by Dinesh Vijan. The film is based on the life of Maratha king Chhatrapati Sambaji Maharaj, played by Vicky Kaushal. It is an adaptation of the Marathi novel Chhava by Shivaji Sawant.

The began in April 2023 and filming commenced in October 2023 and ended in May 2024. The film score and soundtrack album are composed by A.R Rahman while the lyrics are written by Irshad Kamil. It is scheduled for a theatrical release on 14 February 2025.
