Varun Dhawan upcoming film Baby John is directed by Kalees. It stars Keerthy Suresh,Alaayna Hussain, Jackie Shroff,Sanya Malhotra,Sheeba Chadda and many others in supporting roles.

The film is a remake of Tamil cinema Theri. The plot is Varun will be seen as DCP Satya Verma alias “Baby John” fakes his death after a personal tragedy and goes into hiding to raise his daughter in a safe environment, but trouble ensues when their lives are threatened by Satya’s old nemesis Babbar Sher, a politician, whom he must confront once and for all to protect his daughter.

The The soundtrack is composed by Thaman.S , in his first solo Hindi film.The lyrics have been penned by Irshad kamil.The first single titled “Nain Matakka” was released on 25 November 2024.
Nain Matakka is sung by Diljit Dosanjh and Dhee ,Music Composer by Thaman S Vocals and Lyrics by Irshad Kamil.

The film shooting commenced with an inaugural Puja ceremony, a video of which was released by the production house on 14 January 2024 – on the occasion of Makar Sankranti. Filming wrapped up in April 2024.The filming took place in Mumbai, Kerala, and many other places.
The film is releasing on 25 December 2024.
