Rishabh Shetty the famous sandalwood director and an actor who performed well in Kantara and many awards for the film. Kantara is action thriller film which grossed around ₹400 to 450 Crores at the box office. He won National award for the film.

He will be next seen in the Prequel of the film Kantara. The film is titled as Kantara: Chapter 1. The first look and teaser were released on 27 November 2023.

The film also stars Jayaram, Jissu Senugupta and many others in lead roles. The film’s soundtrack album and background score were composed by B Ajaneesh Loknath.

Rishabh announced the films release date which is on 2 October 2025, coinciding with Gandhi Jayanthi.
