Janhvi Kapoor is working with Junior NTR for their upcoming film. The film was officially announced in April 2021 under the tentative title NTR30, as it is Rama Rao’s 30th film as a a lead actor, and the official title was announced in May 2023. The film is titled as Devara Part 1.

The film also stars Saif Ali Khan, Prakash raj, Srikanth, Shruthi Marate and many others in supporting roles.

The plot is  about an epic action saga centered around Devara, a fearless man from a coastal region who embarks on a perilous journey into the treacherous world of the sea to safeguard the lives of his people. Unbeknownst to him, his brother Bhaira is plotting a conspiracy against him. As events unfold, Devara passes on his legacy to his mild-mannered and timid son, Varada.

The film’s soundtrack album is composed by Anirudh Ravichander.

The first single, titled “Fear Song” was released on 19 May 2024.  The second single titled “Chuttamalle” was released on 5 August 2024.

Fans are grooving to Chuttamalle song and dancing to it.

The filming started on on 1 April 2023 and in August 2024. the film was shot in Hyderabad, Thailand, Goa, Vishakapatnam and many other places.

Ntr shares a post on social media as   his last shot of the film with the director and caption’s it as “Just wrapped my final shot for #Devara Part 1. What a wonderful journey it has been. I will miss the ocean of love and the incredible team. Can’t wait for everyone to sail into the world crafted by Siva on the 27th of September.”

The film is scheduled for a theatrical release on 27 September 2024 in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi languages.
