Kanguva Suriya’s 42nd film is a Tamil historical fantasy drama written and directed by Siruthai Siva. Suriya plays the lead role, with Bollywood beauty Disha Patani, comedian Yogi Babu, and many others in supporting roles.

Rockstar Devi Sri Prasad composed the soundtrack and background score for this film. Vetri Palanisamy handled the cinematography, and the film’s editing was done by Nishad Yusuf. K. E. Gnanavel Raja, Vamsi, and Telugu producer Pramod produced this film under the banners of Studio Green and UV Creations. This movie will be released as a pan-Indian film by Studio Green in ten different languages in 3D.

The first single Fire is out.The Fire Song has lyrics penned by Viveka and vocals by VM Mahalingam, Senthil Ganesh, Shenbagaraj and Deepthi Suresh. The lyrics talk of the fire within Suriya’s character in the film and the video shows a glimpse of him dancing with his tribesmen. The song feels like an introductory number to one of his characters in the film.

The  filming took place in Goa, Chennai, Kerala, Kadaikanal and other locations. The film is releasing on 10 October 2024.
