Indian 2 Kamal Hassan film released on 12th July which is directed by S Shankar. The film also stars Siddarth, S J Suriyah, Rakul Preet Singh, Vivek, Kajal Aggarwal in the lead roles. The film  is the second instalment in the Indian Triology  and sequel to Indian(1996).Kamal Hassan reprises his role as Senapathy, an ageing freedom fighter turned vigilante who fights against corruption.

The movie has got good reviews. Fans loves Kamal Hassan’s acting and his new avatar in the film. The theatres are housefull and running successfully in theatres.

The movie earned a total of ₹25.6 crore on the first day, from which the Tamil version sold the highest, earning ₹16.5 crore. Meanwhile, Indian 2 movie’s collection in India grossed ₹51.35 crore while in the overseas market it raked in ₹28.65 crore.
