Surya the south Actor will be seen in a Fantasy action film Kanguva. The film was announced in April 2019 with Title as Surya 42 and it is directed by Siva, produced by K E Gnanavel Raja. The film stars Suriya in dual role, Bobby Deol, Disha Patni, which is her debut film.,Natarajan Subramaniam, Jagapati Babu, Yogi Babu, Redin Kingslevi, Kovai Sarala, Anandarai, B. S. Avinash, and many others in supporting roles. Thesoundtrack and film score is composed by Devi Sri Prasad.

Suriya shares the Second poster of the film.

The film shooting was begun in July 2022.The first Schedule began on 24 August 2022 in Chennai. The second schedule commenced in Goa on 20 September. The next and third schedule was reported to commence again in Chennai and also in Pondicherry. The third schedule began on 16 December in Ennore. Principal photography wrapped in January 2024.Post-production started in late June 2023 in Mumbai.

Suriya shares the last shoot picture saying “My last shot done for Kanguva! An entire unit filled with positivity! It’s a finishing of one and beginning of many..! The first glimpse of Kanguva was released on EID festival.

The movie is releasing this year.

Suriya will be also seen in his 43rd movie with Dulquer Salman.
