Randeep Hooda the finest actor in the Bollywood industry has given hit films like Highway, Baaghi 2, Sarbjit,Murder 3, Sergeant and many other films. He will be next seen in a biopic of Damodar Savarkar.

The movie is titled as Swatantrya Veer Savarkar. Swatantra Veer Savarkar’ is an upcoming biopic movie in Hindi, directed by Mahesh Manjrekar. The screenplay is written by actor Randeep Hood along with Utkarsh Naithani. The first look was released on the 139th birth anniversary of the great freedom fighter Vinayak Damodar Savarkar, May 28th. Randeep will be playing the role of Savarkar

The movie also stars Ankita Lokhande, Amit Sial and Apinderdeep Singh in pivotal roles.Ankita will be playing the role of Yamuna Bai.

The teaser of the film was released on the 140th anniversary of Vinayak Damodara Savarkar.

The shooting has completed and Randeep shares his experience for working in this movie .He says”It’s a wrap for #VeerSavarkar. I have been to death and back for this film but that is a topic for another day. For now, big heartfelt thanks to my team, cast and crew, to have rallied day and night behind me through thick and thin and made it happen. Finally now I can eat properly , so looking forward to a scrumptious meal. Btw, there are a lot of MISCONCEPTIONS on what I ate and didn’t eat during this stretched period of shoot and I’ll clarify that VERY SOON. Vande Mataram!”
