Dream Girl 2 the sequel to Dream Girl was announced in September 2022. It stars Ayushmann Khurrana, Ananya Panday, Paresh Rawal, Annu Kapoor, Rajpal Yadav, and many others in supporting roles. It was directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa and produced by Ekta Kapoor.

It was announced the movie will be released on July 7, 2023.

Later the movie’s release date got postponed.

Ayushmann shares a video of himself wearing a red saree and talking on the phone with Rocky. She says “Pooja ek tyohaar hai, pachees ko iss baar hai! Your @pooja___dreamgirl arrives with a Rockying surprise on 25th July.”

Ayushmann was recently seen in Action Hero was released on 2 December 2022 and received mostly positive reviews from critics, and grossed 16.24 crores at the box office.
