Brahmastra Part One: Shiva movie released on 9 September 2022. The movie stars Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy, and many others in supporting roles. The movie is directed by Ayan Mukerji. The movie grossed 431 crores at the box office.

The movie is streaming on Disney+Hotstar.

Fans were eagerly waiting for the announcement of Part 2 of Brahmastra. The makers announced Part 2 movie will be released soon.

Ayan Mukerji announces Brahmastra Part 2: Shiva is releasing in December 2026 and Part 3 in December 2027.

Ayan wrote a note saying”I also have another piece of news to share…. The Universe has presented me with a very special opportunity recently a very special movie – to step into and direct! What the movie is… More on that when the time is right 🙂 An opportunity that challenges me and terribly excites me… one where I will learn, be inspired, and where I will grow! So, I have decided to take it up!!”

He also revealed Ayan revealed that he will be shooting for Brahmastra 2 and 3 simultaneously and it will take him around three years from now to release Brahmastra Part Two in theaters.

Brahmastra Part 2 depicts the story of Mahadev and Parvati. Deepika Padukone will be playing the character Parvati as she played the role of Shiva aka Ranbir Kapoor‘s mother in Brahmastra Part One movie.

Ayan will also be directing War 2 movie. Alia will be seen in Rocky Aur Rani Ki Kahani with Ranveer Singh.
