Shahid Kapoor‘s upcoming web series Farzi was released today on Amazon Prime video.It also stars Vijay Sethupati, Raashi Khanna, Kay Kay Menon,  Bhuvan Arora, Regina Cassandra, and many others in important roles.It is directed by  Raj & DK.

Shahid Kapoor and his wife Mira,Rakul Preet and Jackky Bhagnani, Varun Dhawan, Kriti Sanon, Genelia and Ritesh Deshmukh,Raj and DK Vaani Kapoor and many other celebrities were spotted at Farzi special screening.

The webseries is streaming on prime video.Raj and Dk shares his experience on working on the film.He says “I thought things would get easier. You’d think after two loved seasons of The Family Man, I’ll be cool and chill. But it never gets easy!I have been sweating and stressing, just like I was doing when our first film 99 released. I know we’ve put in our best. But I also know the audience can be critical. As they have a right to be.Farzi especially has been a tough one. The most effort we’ve ever put into a film or a series. Shooting through waves of pandemic, shooting in bubbles, cheating locations, working through illness, crew suffering from fear and fatigue, never-ending shoots, crazy post production schedules… But all of this doesn’t matter, unless the quality shows on screen.esterday, as the show premiered and we had the good fortune to see it on the big screen, I saw a packed theatre of people who love us, support us and worked hard with us. It was all worth it. The laughter, cheers and claps made it so special because we only see tweets and posts of how people feel when they watch a series. We never get to watch them watch the show 🙂 It was incredibly special!The day of the release I realise now, gets pretty reflective for me. And I think it is important to remember the journey and keep reminding ourselves where we started.
I hope you all enjoy our labour of love. This time literally, sweat, tears, blood and a ton of covid germs went into the making of this one.
