His new movie Thunivu was released on 11 January 2023. It is directed by H. Vinoth and produced by Boney Kapoor. It also stars Samuthirakani, Manju Warrier, Pavani Reddy, Ajay, and many others in supporting roles.

Ajith will be also seen in the AK62 movie. It is directed by Vignesh Shivan and also stars Nayanthara, Arvind Swamy, and Santhanam in important roles.
