Vicky Kaushal was recently seen in Sardar Udham which was a biopic of Udham Singh. The movie was released in 2021. He will be seen in his upcoming movie, Sam Bahadur.

The movie is based on the life of Sam Manekshaw who was the Chief of the Army Staff of the Indian Army during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971, and the first Indian Army officer to be promoted to the rank of field marshal.

The movie is directed by Meghna Gulzar and produced by RSVP Movies. The movie also stars Sanya Malhotra, and Fatima Sana Shaikh in the lead roles and Krishan Kant Singh Bundela, Neeraj Kabi, Edward Sonnenblick, Col Ravi Sharma, Richard Bhakti Klein, Saqib Ayub in supporting roles.
