Ponniyin Selvan: Part one was released on 30 September 2022 worldwide. It stars Vikram, Trisha Krishnan, Aishwarya Rai, Prakash Raj, Prabhu, Jayam Ravi, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Sarath Kumar, Karthi, Jayaram, and many others. It is produced by Mani Ratnam and produced by Mani Ratnam and Subaskaran Allirajah. The movie got a good response and the movie grossed over 500 crores and and became highest grossing Tamil film of 2022 and the 3rd-highest-grossing Indian film of the year 2022.
