Rishab Shetty’s Kantara released on 30 September 2022. and running successfully. People are watching the movie more than twice. People are praising Rishab Shetty’s work in the movie. The movie also stars Kishore, Achyuth Kumar,Pramod Shetty,Sapthami Gowda.

The story revolves around the story of protecting the forest land having the temple of Gulinga Daiva by the greed of the king’s successor which may lead to sufferings due to the wrath of the Lord Gulinga because of the  promise that is kept by the ancestors of the Kasargod District.

In the first week of the movie release it grossed  14. 25 crores and in the second week it grossed  4.25 crores in Karnatake. It grossed  more than 150 crores worldwide.

The Karnataka government has  announced a Rs 2000 monthly allowance for Daiva Narthakas above 60 years of age after being impressed by Kantara.

Shilpa Shetty the Bollywood actress who is an Manglorean she appreactiates his work and says”The movie really took me back to my roots and  made me really proud.”
