The Bachchhan Paandey actor Akshay Kumar was seen in the trailer launch of the Prithviraj movie, directed by Chandraprakash Dwivedi and produced by Yash Raj Films. The film stars the Bollywood debut of Miss World 2017 Manushi Chhillar will be seen in the role of Princess Sanyogita. It is based on the life of Prithviraj Chauhan, a king from the Chahamana dynasty. It also stars Sanjay Dutt as Kaka Kanha, Sonu Sood as Chand Bardai, Ashutosh Rana as Jayachandra, and Manav Vij as Muhammad Ghori.

Manushi opened up about working with Akshay Kumar and being a part of Prithviraj. She said, “It is going to always be actually an exclusive film for her”. She continues by saying “It’s my first film so it will always be special and fortunate to work with Akshay sir, Yash Raj has launched me and Doctor Saab directed my first film”.

The movie is going to release on June 3 2022 in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu languages.

Akshay shares his experience working with Manushi and says “She is undoubtedly a talent to watch out for. Prithviraj being her first film, was thus simple and easy, therefore devoted and thus inquisitive dedicated that she won the entire team’s heart. Director Chandraprakash Dwivedi has found the perfect Sanyogita because of Manushi through her grace.”

Dr. Chandraprakash Dwivedi says, “Prithviraj is my dream project. Prithviraj’s last research took around six months for me to become totally delighted that every fact was actually examined numerous opportunities.”

It is also reported that producer Aditya Chopra converted an entire floor of the Yash Raj Films Studios in Andheri into a research wing.
